Delete Your Account
This page explains how to request deletion of your Fahrnex account and associated data, whether you use Fahrnex on the web or in the mobile app.
How to request deletion
- 1Send an email to privacy@fahrnex.de from the email address registered on your Fahrnex account, with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
- 2We may ask you to confirm your identity before processing the request, to prevent someone else from deleting your account.
- 3We will delete your account and the data listed below within 30 days, and confirm by email once it is complete.
What gets deleted
- Your profile and login credentials
- Vehicles, mileage, service records, and reminders
- Uploaded documents and their metadata
- Expenses and expense attachments
- Favorite fuel stations and saved searches
- Mobile app push notification tokens
What we may retain, and why
Invoices and billing records
Kept for the statutory retention period under German commercial and tax law, commonly up to 10 years, even after account deletion.
Support and dispute records
Limited support history may be kept where needed to defend against legal claims or comply with a legal obligation.
